This may audio strange, but what I await for in a makeup creative person when I desire communication is kind of like what I might wait for in a therapist. Basically, I desire somebody that I can tell is actually listening to me and isn't in a big hurry — somebody who will have the time to aid. Ideally, this person would too exist nice, because it'southward always easier to talk to nice people who aren't dismissive of y'all, or who expect downwardly on you. I mean, that's never fun. I go to a makeup counter because I want to feel skilful about myself and learn something new, or maybe I simply need a choice-me-upwards, and it's just always nicer talking to somebody sincere who has a proficient attitude, and somebody friendly who will look you in the eye, you know, and maybe scissure a few jokes, just at the same fourth dimension is very knowledgeable.
Virtually of the time when I practice go to a makeup counter, I go with a specific question in mind, and I'm non shy about it, and then I'll walk up to whomever's working and be like, "How-do-you-do. Who'south the best person to ask for middle makeup communication?" or, "Who here does the most astonishing pare??"
I don't desire to waste anybody's time, so I'll ask them my questions, and hopefully they'll have an answer for me, or peradventure offering a technique or product recommendation.
Most of the time I'd rather speak to someone I have good chemistry with than someone who may have rockin' eye makeup but seems uninterested in me, or comes across every bit standoffish or dismissive.
